The comparison at the centre of this service
What was planned
The approved agenda, objectives, participant list, and committed provisions.
What was delivered
What an independent verifier observed in the room, as it happened.
Reported activity is not the same as delivered activity. RAYID observes events independently while they are happening and compares what was planned with what was actually delivered.
Live event verification covers workshops, consultations, trainings, conferences, and capacity-building activities. A verifier is present during the activity, working from a structured checklist agreed in advance, and records what is observed rather than what is later reported.
The purpose is to establish whether the activity took place as designed, whether the people recorded as attending were present, and whether delivery reflected the stated objectives and agenda.
RAYID does not organize, host, or facilitate events. We verify them. That separation is what makes the observation credible to a donor or oversight body reading the report afterwards.

Event documentation is usually produced by the team delivering the event. Attendance sheets, photographs, and completion reports can all be assembled after the fact. An independent observer present during delivery is the only evidence that distinguishes an activity that happened from an activity that was reported.
Detailed capabilities
What the verifier checks on the day
Attendance verification
Recorded participant lists are checked against the people actually present, so reported reach can be substantiated.
Registration verification through head counts
Independent head counts at agreed points during the activity confirm participation levels rather than relying on the signed sheet alone.
Live observation using checklists
A standardized checklist, agreed before the event, structures what the verifier observes and keeps findings comparable across activities.
Agenda follow-through verification
Delivered sessions, timings, and content are compared against the approved agenda to identify omissions or substitutions.
Quality, relevance and engagement checks
Observation of facilitation, participant interaction, and relevance of content to the stated objectives of the activity.
Refreshment and lunch provision checks
Independent confirmation that provisions committed in the budget and agenda were actually made available to participants.
Documentation and evidence verification
Attendance sheets, agendas, materials, and photographic records are reviewed for completeness and consistency with what was observed.
Participant feedback collection
Structured feedback gathered directly from participants, independently of the organizing team, on relevance and delivery.
Security and safeguarding assessment
Observation of venue arrangements, access, and participant safety considerations against agreed expectations.
How RAYID approaches verification
Observed, not reconstructed
Agree the verification checklist
The agenda, objectives, expected participants, and committed provisions are converted into a structured checklist before the activity takes place.
Observe delivery live
A verifier is present throughout, recording observations, head counts, and geo-tagged, time-stamped field evidence as the activity unfolds.
Verify participation and provisions
Attendance records, registration, and committed provisions are checked against what is physically observed in the room.
Collect independent feedback
Participants are engaged directly, separately from the organizing team, on relevance, delivery, and understanding of the objectives.
Report against plan
The event quality assessment field report sets out what was planned, what was delivered, the gaps, and the corrective actions recommended.
